Which MLS Team Should I Support? A Guide for UK Fans

Which MLS Team Should I Support

So you’re new to MLS and don’t know which team to support. That was me once too.

Choosing a club in Major League Soccer can feel like walking into a pub quiz halfway through round four. There’s no promotion or relegation, half the teams seem to play in a gridiron stadium, and one mob are wearing bright pink.

It’s very different from English and European leagues, but there’s proper football culture here too — you just need to know where to look. So whether you’re a long-suffering Everton fan, a chaos-loving Leeds die-hard, or a Manchester United supporter looking for an American MUFC equivalent, this guide is for you.

Below, you’ll find every MLS team (all 30 as of 2025) matched to the kind of fan who might fall in love with them — based on vibe, values, colours, initials, rivalries, and the occasional well-chosen European connection.

You will ultimately find your own reason to support the club you choose, but if you are struggling, hopefully this guide can give you a starting point.

Atlanta United

Atlanta United FCFor fans who love: Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, or anyone who believes football is theatre.
MLS Vibe: Big stadium energy, high expectations, attacking style.

Atlanta United aren’t just big — they feel big. From the moment they joined MLS in 2017, they packed 40,000+ into Mercedes-Benz Stadium, played all-out-attack football, and won a title in year two. It’s got serious Klopp-era Liverpool vibes: passionate fanbase, loud stadium, emotional highs (and occasional collapses).

They play in red and black, just like AC Milan — and there’s a South American flavour to the team thanks to a parade of attacking midfielders who play with flair first and tactics later.

Atlanta is a club for fans who want to feel like they’re part of something huge — even if the team doesn’t always deliver on its potential. If you like flags, flares, full stadiums, and shouting at centre-backs to “just clear it,” Atlanta’s ready for you.

Charlotte FC

Charlotte FC LogoFor fans who love: West Ham (but with less history), or anyone who wants to build a legacy.
MLS Vibe: Shiny new club, uncertain identity, big-city ambition.

Charlotte FC only entered MLS in 2022, and they’re still finding out who they are. They broke the league’s attendance record in their first match (over 74,000 showed up) — so the appetite is there — but the football has been inconsistent.

Their colour scheme (royal blue and white) gives Chelsea vibes, but the actual feel is more like West Ham during a stadium move: a passionate fanbase, a posh ground with echoey bits, and an ownership group trying to figure out how to connect.

There aren’t many direct UK links yet, but the chance to get in early and help shape the culture might appeal to anyone who wishes they could’ve supported their club before they got good (or corporate). If you want a blank canvas with potential and a chip on its shoulder, Charlotte’s your project.

Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire FC LogoFor fans who love: Everton, QPR, or anyone who understands stubborn loyalty despite decades of disappointment.
MLS Vibe: Classic name, big-market club, but consistently underachieving.

Let’s be honest: Chicago Fire is a great name. The club wears red, is based in a world-class city, and has one MLS Cup, 1 Supporter’s Shield, and 4 US Open Cups to its name — but that was way back in 1990s and early 2000s. Since then? Mostly forgettable seasons, underwhelming squads, and half-empty stands.

But that’s why you’d love them. There’s something romantic about backing a team that just refuses to die, no matter how lost it gets. Fire fans have stuck with their club through rebrands, stadium relocations, and awful form — and they’re still here.

They’re a bit like Everton: proud history, brilliant supporters, a sense that they should be better — and if they ever get it together, it’ll feel like the most rewarding ride in football.

Columbus Crew

Columbus Crew LogoFor fans who love: Norwich, Borussia Dortmund, or supporter-led success stories.
MLS Vibe: Loyal community, fan-led survival, proper football people.

If you believe football belongs to its fans, Columbus Crew might be your American club. They’re one of the original MLS teams (1996), and when their owner tried to move them to Texas in 2017, the fans didn’t just protest — they organised, lobbied, and won. The “#SaveTheCrew” campaign is the stuff of football legend.

They now play in a beautiful, fan-funded stadium, have a yellow-and-black colour scheme (very Borussia Dortmund), and a supporters’ section that brings the noise, just like the Yellow Wall.

This is a team for community-minded fans who prefer authenticity to Instagram glitz. You won’t find many celebrities here, but you’ll find a club that genuinely loves its people back. Norwich fans, you’ll feel right at home.

FC Cincinnati

FC Cincinnati LogoFor fans who love: Newcastle United, Luton Town, Leicester, or any underdog who rose up swinging.
MLS Vibe: From wooden spoon to silverware in record time. Loud fans, proud city.

FC Cincinnati joined MLS from USL in 2019 and were absolutely dreadful for three straight years. We’re talking record-setting bad — minus goal difference, coaching chaos, fans making banners out of memes. And yet… they never stopped selling out games.

Then came the turnaround: smart recruitment, committed ownership, and a playing style that actually made sense. By 2023 they won the Supporters’ Shield — best team over the regular season. Just like that, they were top dogs.

Their colours (orange and blue) are closer to Blackpool or Shakhtar than any UK giant, but the vibe? That’s pure Geordie redemption arc. If you stuck with Newcastle through the Steve Bruce years or followed Luton Town’s 10 year journey from League 2 to the Premier League, you’ll appreciate what Cincy fans have built. Leicester fans from 2015 will have a lot in common with Cincy fans, too.

Plus, their rivalry with Columbus — “Hell Is Real,” named after a motorway sign — is peak MLS and genuinely fierce.

D.C. United

DC United LogoFor fans who love: Nottingham Forest or Manchester United… but also kind of miss 1999.
MLS Vibe: Historic name, black kits, original powerhouse now finding its feet again.

D.C. United were the team when MLS launched. Four titles in the first nine seasons, a fierce reputation, and an all-black kit that screamed authority. They were the Red Devils of early MLS.

Fast forward to now? They’ve been overtaken by flashier clubs, spent years rebuilding, and only occasionally show glimpses of former glory. But that doesn’t mean the identity is lost.

Wayne Rooney played for them, captained them, and even came back to manage. He’s basically a DC legend. There’s a real sense of heritage here, and a still-smouldering belief that D.C. could be huge again with the right push. Nottingham Forest fans will understand this given their success in the 1970s and 80s, and their fall from grace after that.

Support D.C. if you value tradition, black-and-red swagger, and the idea of helping a once-great team rise again. Manchester United fans disillusioned with modern ownership might also find something refreshingly grounded here.

Inter Miami CF

Inter Miami LogoFor fans who love: Barcelona, PSG, or straight-up football drama.
MLS Vibe: Glitz, glamour, Messi. Pink shirts and chaos galore.

Let’s be honest — this is probably the team you already know. Inter Miami is co-owned by David Beckham and made headlines worldwide in 2023 when they signed Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba… then Luis Suárez for good measure.

Their shirts are bright pink, their stadium is in Fort Lauderdale, their defending is occasionally optional, and their fan culture is a spicy mix of Latin American noise and South Beach selfies.

If you support Barcelona, PSG, or are just here to watch greatness — this is your team. Inter Miami is MLS’s Galáctico experiment. Whether it works long term doesn’t even matter. You’re here for the vibes, and there are plenty.

Also, let’s not ignore the shirt. No other top club has truly committed to pink like this. If your wardrobe needs a colour refresh — sorted.

CF Montréal

CF Montreal LogoFor fans who love: Marseille, Napoli, or clubs where emotion rules all.
MLS Vibe: French-Canadian, unpredictable, occasionally explosive.

Montreal doesn’t feel like the rest of MLS. The fans sing in French, the stadium has an ultra section, and the football — when good — is full of flair. Thierry Henry even managed here for a bit, and Didier Drogba had a brilliant late-career run too.

But it’s not just the stars. This is a club with a bit of mystery to it. They rebranded from “Montreal Impact” to “CF Montréal” in 2021, much to the fury of local fans who loved the old name. That tension still simmers, but the passion is real.

If you’re drawn to fiery fanbases and clubs that carry cultural weight, Montreal will speak to you. They’re the Marseille or Napoli of MLS — not always consistent, but always dramatic. Perhaps Birmingham City in the UK.

Bonus for UK-based French speakers: this is the only MLS club where you might genuinely hear “Allez les bleus!” chanted properly.

Nashville SC

Nashville SC LogoFor fans who love: Wolves, Brighton, or clubs that mix discipline with just enough flair.
MLS Vibe: Structured, stylish, and surprisingly loud. Music-themed but not a gimmick.

Nashville SC aren’t flashy, but they’re seriously well run. From day one, they built from the back, prioritised defence, and relied on team structure. Sounds boring? Not really — especially when you throw in 30,000+ fans and anthems that include Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.”

There’s a country music edge to the branding, but the fanbase is diverse and properly into it. Their supporters’ section is huge, they’ve got a massive golden guitar that players “smash” after wins, and their new stadium is one of the best in the league.

They’re not winning neutrals with 5–4 thrillers, but they are the team that could grind their way to a trophy while everyone else chases headlines.

If you’re into quietly competent clubs who earn their moments, Nashville might be your steady weekend love.

New England Revolution

New England Revolution LogoFor fans who love: Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield United, or long-suffering loyalty.
MLS Vibe: Original club, always the bridesmaid. Close but rarely crowned.

New England are MLS originals. They’ve been around since 1996, made five MLS Cup finals… and lost every single one. For decades, they were the “nearly” team. But their fans stuck around, snowstorms and all.

Then, in 2021, they won the Supporters’ Shield with the most points in MLS history. Was this finally their time? Nope — bounced from the playoffs. Still, they’re building something. A new training facility, a smarter style of play, and an identity that feels grounded in New England grit.

If you support Spurs — or anyone who constantly teases you with greatness but lets you down — you’ll fit right in.

Also: their colours (navy, red and white) and name scream early-2000s Pro Evo default team, which is kind of charming in its own right.

New York City FC

New York City FCFor fans who love: Manchester City, Girona, or shiny football franchises with real on-pitch quality.
MLS Vibe: City Football Group USA. Possession-based, sky blue, still oddly groundless.

Let’s not dance around it — this is Manchester City’s American cousin. Literally. NYCFC is owned by City Football Group, wears an almost identical sky blue kit, and has shared players, coaches, and a philosophy of slick, possession-first football.

They’ve already won MLS Cup (2021), they develop serious talent (like Jack Harrison, who went to Man City then Leeds), and they’ve had legends like David Villa and Andrea Pirlo pull on the shirt. But — and this is a big but — they still play home games in a baseball stadium, which makes them feel slightly temporary, even a decade on.

If you’re a City fan, this is a no-brainer. But even if you’re not, NYCFC has appeal for anyone who likes fluid football, star power, and the idea of watching a team that’s probably going to be good every season.

Just don’t expect to see them in a proper football ground any time soon.

New York Red Bulls

new-york-red-bulls-logoFor fans who love: Arsenal (especially the Henry era), Leeds, or teams that run like mad and frustrate everyone.
MLS Vibe: High press, academy pride, famous alumni. Still chasing that big trophy.

The Red Bulls (formerly the MetroStars) are MLS’s red-clad chaos engine. They press high, run relentlessly, and bleed youth development. Think Leeds under Bielsa meets the Red Bull football model — not a coincidence, given their global branding links to Leipzig and Salzburg.

Thierry Henry played here from 2010 to 2014 — and made a real impact becoming something of a legend, not just a swansong. Both Arsenal and RBNY wear red, play in big cities, and know the pain of underachieving despite having moments of brilliance.

They’ve never won MLS Cup, but they’ve topped the regular season table multiple times. The fans are intense (and perpetually annoyed), the style is extreme, and the atmosphere at Red Bull Arena — while patchy in attendance — is loud when it counts.

Support RBNY if you love frenzied football, youth development, and the idea of finally lifting a first trophy and rubbing it in everyone’s face.

Orlando City SC

Orlando City FCFor fans who love: Fiorentina, Real Betis, or anywhere football meets carnival.
MLS Vibe: Purple shirts, Brazilian flair, wild matches and a touch of beautiful chaos.

Orlando City do not do quiet. They play in purple, their fan section drums constantly, and they entered MLS in 2015 with Kaká as their marquee signing. Since then? Goals, red cards, last-minute drama, and a rollercoaster of emotional swings.

There’s a Latin American vibe to their fan culture (lots of Brazilians and Colombians in Florida), and the football is often fun to watch — even if it’s not always successful.

They’ve won a U.S. Open Cup, but not MLS Cup yet — and that underdog edge, mixed with the colour scheme, gives off serious Fiorentina or Real Betis energy.

If you like sunshine, samba, and occasionally shouting “WHY are we like this?!” — Orlando might just be your MLS soulmate. Harder to match them with a UK club, but perhaps Crystal Palace fits the bill: colourful club, multi-cultural fan base, don’t win much but well supported.

Philadelphia Union

Philadelphia Union LogoFor fans who love: Sunderland, Athletic Bilbao, or clubs built not bought.
MLS Vibe: Gritty, intense, academy-first, and proud of it.

Philly are one of MLS’s great modern success stories — and they did it the hard way. No star signings. No huge transfers. Just clever recruitment, a brilliant academy, and an aggressive high-press system that punches above its weight every year.

The fans? Loud, loyal, and not afraid to boo Santa (yes, really — Philadelphia sports fans are passionate). The stadium sits by the Delaware River, and the supporter section — the Sons of Ben — is one of the league’s most dedicated.

They nearly won it all in 2022, losing the final in heartbreaking fashion to LAFC. But they keep coming back, stronger and more unified.

Support the Union if you believe football is about system, community, and belief. You’ll find zero celebrities here — just a team that plays like it means something. They have that same scrappy, blue collar feel as Sunderland, although Philly are arguably the better team these days.

Toronto FC

Toronto FC LogoFor fans who love: Roma, AC Milan, or big-city clubs with dramatic flair and heavy expectations.
MLS Vibe: Massive potential, Italian flavour, spectacular highs and lows.

Toronto is Canada’s biggest club — and its most intense. When they’re good (like in 2017 when they won everything), they’re very good. When they’re bad, it’s a full-on soap opera.

They’ve had big European names: Sebastian Giovinco lit up the league, and Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi also wore the red shirt. The fans are loud, the stadium is waterfront scenic, and the rivalry with Montreal adds proper spice.

It’s a bit like supporting Roma — huge expectations, passionate fans, maybe too much drama, but you can’t help loving them.

Support TFC if you want a club that swings big, signs big, and makes every win or loss feel like a national event. Just don’t expect midtable stability — it’s either crisis or ecstasy.

Austin FC

Austin FC LogoFor fans who love: St Pauli, Forest Green Rovers, or clubs with big personalities and even bigger fan culture.
MLS Vibe: Ultra-hipster, ultra-loud, ultra-green.

Austin FC joined MLS in 2021 but already feel like one of the most established fan-driven clubs in the league. Their colour is an aggressive neon green, their badge has twin oaks, and their supporters’ section — Los Verdes — bring it every single match.

They sing, drum, jump, wave flags, and bounce so hard the stadium shakes. The club leans into Austin’s “Keep it Weird” identity with design, merch, and matchday pageantry. And yes, Matthew McConaughey is part-owner and sometimes appears in a green tux shouting “Alright, alright, alright” before games.

The team? Often fun, occasionally frustrating — but never dull.

Support Austin if you’re into clubs with cult energy, a strong visual identity, and a crowd that never stops singing even when they’re 3–0 down. Forest Green fans: this is your MLS cousin, but with more tequila and fewer lentils.

Colorado Rapids

Colorado Rapids LogoFor fans who love: Burnley, Bolton, or any club with a small-but-mighty ethos and unpredictable success.
MLS Vibe: Quietly historic, occasionally brilliant, often overlooked.

The Rapids are a founding MLS club (1996), have an MLS Cup to their name (2010), and have one of the most scenic stadiums in the league — sitting in the shadow of the Rockies.

But unless you’re really paying attention, you might forget they exist. They’re not flashy, they don’t sign stars, and they’re not always competitive — but every now and then, they string together a season and make people go “Wait, what?”

There’s a clear connection to UK football here: their owners also run Arsenal. But don’t expect any overlap — the Rapids feel very separate, and their down-to-earth identity couldn’t be further from Premier League polish. They are more like Bolton or Burnley: rooted, storied, burgundy (in the case of Burnley anyway).

Support Colorado if you believe football’s beauty is in the moments when the overlooked club does something extraordinary — and if you like your away days to come with a side of mountain air.

FC Dallas

FC Dallas LogoFor fans who love: Southampton, Ajax, or any club that lives for the academy.
MLS Vibe: Youth-first, no-nonsense, Texas pride.

FC Dallas doesn’t chase stars — it produces them. Weston McKennie, Chris Richards, Ricardo Pepi, Reggie Cannon — all came through their system. They’re the best academy in MLS, full stop.

The team itself wears red and white, plays in suburban Frisco, and often gets overlooked in favour of flashier rivals. But smart fans know: if you want to watch future stars before they break through, this is the club to follow.

It’s a little bit Ajax, a little bit Southampton (back when they were a talent conveyor belt), and very Texas. Also, they hate Houston Dynamo with a passion, and their derby — the Texas Clasico — is the closest thing MLS has to a local scrap in a pub car park.

Support Dallas if you’re the type of fan who watches the U21s before the seniors and loves knowing your club built something real.

Houston Dynamo

Houston Dynamo LogoFor fans who love: Wolves, Valencia CF, or clubs with working-class energy and a fiery streak.
MLS Vibe: Gritty, proud, Latino-influenced, built on heart not hype.

Houston Dynamo burst into MLS in 2006 and won back-to-back titles straight away. Since then? A bit of a drop-off, but the fans never stopped caring.

Their colours are orange and black, just like Wolves or Valencia, their stadium is right in downtown Houston, and their supporter culture is deeply influenced by the city’s Hispanic roots. Expect drums, flares, chants in Spanish, and the kind of attitude that says “We’ll fight you even if we lose.”

In 2022 they signed Héctor Herrera from Mexico’s national team — a huge deal for Liga MX fans — and have begun rebuilding their spine. They’re not a trendy choice, but they’ve got proper soul.

Support Houston if you love clubs with underdog bite, real local pride, and the kind of fans who make noise even when the scoreboard’s against them.

LA Galaxy

LA Galaxy Logo SquareFor fans who love: Rangers, Real Madrid, maybe Manchester United, or any club that knows what it means to be famous.
MLS Vibe: Trophy cabinet full, stars galore, dramatic decline… but still elite.

The Galaxy are the legacy club in MLS. Beckham played here. Zlatan, Gerrard, Ashley Cole too. They’ve won five MLS Cups, attracted world-class names, and embraced their location — Los Angeles, land of stars — like no one else.

Aside from the Beckham connection, there are a few crossovers with Real Madrid. They wear white, their crest is shiny, and their fanbase (especially the Angel City Brigade) is loud, loyal, and not afraid to let the team know when they’re underachieving.

Lately? They’ve been all over the place — missing playoffs, sacking coaches, looking more Hollywood soap than football powerhouse. But the DNA is still there.

Support LA Galaxy if you want trophies, history, a built-in identity, and the belief that, no matter what, your club should be the biggest name in the room. Rangers fans will recognise this.

Bonus: they hate LAFC. Like, really hate them. And those derbies? Absolute fire. Again, Rangers fans will know all about this thanks to their rivalry with Celtic.

Los Angeles FC (LAFC)

Los Angeles FCFor fans who love: PSG, RB Leipzig, Brentford, or new clubs with serious ambition and fan culture that feels decades old.
MLS Vibe: Stylish, loud, modern, instantly elite.

LAFC didn’t mess about. They joined MLS in 2018 and instantly became a title contender. Carlos Vela led the charge. Gareth Bale even showed up long enough to win MLS Cup (and score a 128th-minute equaliser, because why not?).

But what sets LAFC apart is the 3252 — their standing supporter section. These fans bounce, drum, chant and wave smoke bombs like they’ve been doing it since the 1970s. And the club plays into it beautifully — black kits, gold trim, that sharp crest.

They’re the new kids with main character energy. Think PSG without the petrodollars, or a cooler cousin of RB Leipzig that people actually like. They enjoyed a rapid rise like Brentford, play equally attractive football, and implement a similar ‘money ball’ style recruitment strategy, too.

Support LAFC if you want swagger, silverware, and a supporters’ section that might actually blow your speakers if you turn the volume up too high.

Minnesota United FC

Minnesota United FCFor fans who love: Manchester United (no, really), Oasis, or cult clubs that surprise you.
MLS Vibe: Proper supporters, cold-weather grit, and Wonderwall every time they win.

Minnesota United might have one of the most underrated fan experiences in MLS. They’re nicknamed the Loons, their stadium (Allianz Field) is a gem, and their supporter section is relentless. But here’s the hook: they sing “Wonderwall” after every home victory. Thousands of fans, arms around each other, belting out Oasis like it’s 1996.

Also… MUFC. That’s their actual abbreviation. They play in black like United’s old famous away kit. It’s uncanny. They even had an ex-United man as head coach in Eric Ramsey.

Minnesota have got a small-market toughness — and they’re good, too. Playoff regulars, strong midfielders, and an atmosphere that gives off northern solidarity vibes. It’s a bit like supporting a snow-covered version of Man United crossed with a 90s indie gig.

Support Minnesota if you want a club with cult energy, singalong charm, and initials that look familiar when you open the league table.

Portland Timbers

Portland Timbers Logo For fans who love: Celtic, Panathinaikos,  or anywhere football feels like religion.
MLS Vibe: Fan-first, proudly weird, chainsaws and all.

The Timbers don’t just have supporters — they have a full-on movement. Their fan section (the Timbers Army) is one of the most passionate in North America: giant tifos, nonstop singing, and a lumberjack named Timber Joey who revs up a chainsaw and slices a log each time they score.

They wear green and gold, have a fierce anti-corporate streak, and hate their rivals (Seattle) with a passion that borders on unhealthy. The Cascadia Cup — contested with Seattle and Vancouver — is MLS’s most authentic rivalry, and Portland fans treat it like war.

If you support Celtic, Panathinaikos, or anyone with real working-class fire and a cause behind the club, the Timbers will win you over.

Just be ready to explain to your mates why your new team includes a bearded bloke holding a chainsaw on the pitch.

Real Salt Lake

Real Salt Lake LogoFor fans who love: Aston Villa, Real Sociedad, or clubs that value the team over the star.
MLS Vibe: Small market, high altitude, massive team spirit.

Real Salt Lake isn’t the loudest or flashiest club in the league. Their name — “Real” — was borrowed from Madrid (a little MLS cringe from the early days), but everything else is grounded in local pride and grit.

They’re known for their elevation advantage (teams struggle to breathe at altitude), a loyal home crowd, and a culture that insists “the team is the star.” No prima donnas, no gimmicks — just a well-drilled unit that often outperforms its payroll.

They won MLS Cup in 2009 and regularly punch above their weight. If you support Aston Villa, Real Sociedad, or anyone who gets overlooked by the media but earns every bit of respect, Real Salt Lake is your team.

San Diego FC

San Diego FC LogoFor fans who love: Wrexham, FC United of Manchester, or the idea of being there from Day One.
MLS Vibe: New club, big buzz, identity still forming — you get to help shape it.

San Diego FC joined MLS in 2025. At the time of writing, they have no league record and no established players. It’s their first season. What they do have is a beautiful stadium, a sun-soaked city, and a blank slate.

This is a once-in-a-generation chance to get involved from the beginning — like picking your non-league side before they become a Netflix series. You could literally be one of the first ever fans.

Support San Diego if you want to help build a club’s identity, brag about how you were “supporting them before their first match,” and enjoy a season of beach football, tacos, and warm-weather optimism.

This is the hipster’s dream. Or the romantic’s.

San Jose Earthquakes

San Jose Earthquakes LogoFor fans who love: Leeds United, Millwall, Portsmouth, or football clubs that embrace the chaos.
MLS Vibe: Absolute unpredictability, scrappy underdogs, cult hero energy.

The Earthquakes are one of MLS’s most chaotic clubs. They win games they shouldn’t, lose games they should, and sometimes do both in the same 90 minutes. They’ve won MLS Cup twice, got relocated, then got un-relocated. It’s a wild ride.

They’re known for physical, often messy football and a rivalry with LA Galaxy that produces some of the league’s best drama — the California Clásico.

Their stadium is home to the longest outdoor bar in North America. That probably tells you everything you need to know.

If you support Leeds, Millwall, Portsmouth, or anyone with a bit of glorious unpredictability baked into their DNA, the Quakes are your spiritual home.

And yes — they do occasionally score worldies just to remind you they can.

Seattle Sounders

Seattle Sounders LogoFor fans who love: Athletic Bilbao, Eintracht Frankfurt, Chelsea, or clubs where fans are the beating heart.
MLS Vibe: Massive attendances, trophies, and unmatched atmosphere.

Seattle Sounders average over 40,000 fans per game. That’s not a typo — and it sometimes hits 60,000+. Their tifo displays are insane, their stadium is loud enough to set seismic monitors off, and the fans march together to the ground before each match.

They’ve won everything — MLS Cup, Supporters’ Shield, U.S. Open Cups, and the CONCACAF Champions League in 2022 (a first for any MLS side).

Their colours? Electric green and blue. Their mentality? Relentless. Their rivals? Portland. And they hate each other.

Support Seattle if you want the full big-club experience, with passionate fans, trophies, global recognition, and the best atmosphere in the league.

Sporting Kansas City

Sporting Kansas SC LogoFor fans who love: Leicester City, Fulham, or clubs with deep community roots and sharp rebrands.
MLS Vibe: Small-market success, loyal fans, and a club that quietly does things right.

SKC used to be the Kansas City Wizards (yes, really). Then they rebranded, built a beautiful stadium, got their house in order — and quietly became one of MLS’s most successful clubs.

They’ve won two MLS Cups, four U.S. Open Cups, and regularly compete for honours. Their fans — The Cauldron — sing their hearts out every week in a stadium that’s always full, even in blistering Kansas heat.

They feel like a smaller Leicester or Fulham, but with way more trophies — community-driven, well-managed, and quietly ambitious.

Support Sporting KC if you’re into under-the-radar quality, loud local pride, and a team that gets on with winning while everyone else chases headlines.

St. Louis City SC

St Louis City SC LogoFor fans who love: Coventry, West Brom, Stoke, Union Berlin, or clubs that punch above their weight with pure belief.
MLS Vibe: Expansion darlings, high press, full buy-in from the city.

St. Louis entered MLS in 2023 and promptly smashed every expectation. Not only did they make the playoffs — they topped the Western Conference. As a brand-new team.

Their style? Relentless high press. Their identity? Proudly Midwestern, working-class, no nonsense. The atmosphere at CITYPARK is electric, with fans turning up hours before kickoff, painting murals, waving flags, and singing their hearts out.

If you love a club that makes the most of every moment, wins through grit and togetherness, and knows how to turn an entire city into believers — this is your club.

Support St. Louis if you want to ride the wave of something special, built fast but grounded in real community roots.
