MLS Live Stream: Where to Watch Major League Soccer in 2026

MLS Live Stream

With soccer becoming increasingly popular in the United States, more people are searching for MLS live streams than ever before. This is true in other countries too, since Major League Soccer has been getting a lot more international attention in recent years.

For Western audiences, the issue of where to watch MLS games is a relatively easy one to explain, because the answer is Apple TV.

Back in 2023, Apple and MLS signed a deal worth $2.5 billion that would grant the streaming service global rights to broadcast every single Major League Soccer game for a period of 10 years. The deal has since been restructured, but Apple TV remains the best place to watch MLS games for the 2026 season.

There are a few alternatives, but they come with limitations as I will explain below.

MLS Games Now Included With Regular Apple TV Subscription

Apple TV MLSOriginally, soccer fans needed to sign up to something called the MLS Season Pass, which was priced separately. In other words, it was not included as part of the regular Apple TV subscription.

However, in late 2025, they announced a change. The terms of the deal were renegotiated for a number of reasons, all very positive for MLS, but crucially for soccer fans, there was no more Season Pass. All MLS games would be included in the regular subscription price going forward.

The season pass was priced at $14.99 per month, whereas Apple TV’s regular subscription price is just $9.99 per month. So existing subscribers save $5 a month as well as getting access to all of Apple’s other TV shows.

It also means subscribers can access MLS live streams from anywhere using their devices, since Apple TV is available on mobile, tablet, laptop, etc. – people aren’t restricted to watching from home.

The hope is that this will put MLS in front of far more people since the financial barrier has been lifted. The additional paywall is gone. Loads of people will be able to access the MLS streams and if all goes to plan many of them will become at least casual fans.

This all ties in with the timing of the 2026 World Cup of course, which will boost America’s interest in soccer massively since they are the hosts of the competition this year.

Other Ways to Watch

FOX MLS StreamYou can live stream certain MLS games via other platforms in some countries, but these are very limited.

FOX, FS1, and FOX Deportes have the exclusive linear (traditional TV) rights to MLS in the USA, but their package only includes 34 games throughout the regular season, 8 playoff matches, and the MLS Cup Final. What’s more, they are spread across all three channels. So there is no guarantee that the games they show will be the games you actually want to watch. Not in the regular season anyway – everyone wants to watch the final.

Nevertheless, this does create a second MLS live stream option, since FOX has its own apps with live streaming capabilities, and the channels are also available via various other platforms like Hulu and FuboTV etc.

In Canada, TSN (in English) and RDS (in French) have a similar sort of deal, but aimed at the Canadian MLS teams. This is more focussed than the FOX deal because the package of games they are allowed to show will all include Canadian clubs like CF Montreal, Vancouver Whitecaps, or Toronto FC, meaning Canadians have a better chance of the games they are interested in being shown on linear TV.

That said, it will still only be a small selection of games so Apple TV is still the best option by a country mile.

A Word on Illegal Live Streams

Illegal Live Streams

It’s not exactly difficult to find illegal MLS live streams on the internet in this day and age, but as tempting as that might be, stop and think.

By doing so, you might save a measly $9.99, but you will also be watching poor quality visuals and likely experience lots of lag or even streams that suddenly stop at key moments. Alternatively, you might only be able to access a foreign language broadcast where you can’t understand the commentators.

On the other hand, you could hand over the money and watch a crystal clear live stream of every single MLS game on the calendar with expert commentary to boot, not to mention enjoying the mountain of extra content available via Apple.

The other danger of illegal live streams of course, is that they come with the risk of viruses that could harm your device, not to mention the endless pop ups or annoying adverts every time you want to use the interface.

Are you an MLS fan or not? Pay the money. Watch the games properly and enjoy them to the fullest.
