Toronto FC vs Montreal Impact

BMO Field – Sunday 15th October 2017 – 17:00 ET (22:00 BST)

There will be joyous scenes on Sunday evening, as Toronto FC will lift the Supporters Shield for the first time in the clubs history and in front of their home fans. They will be hoping for a victory to give their supporters a perfect end to the regular season and build momentum into the Playoffs, where they will be hoping for one better and make amends for last seasons MLS Cup Final defeat. For Montreal, they’ll be playing for pride after they missed out on a Playoff spot for 2017. Their defeat to Colorado, combined with New York Red Bulls victory was enough to all but bring an end to their season. After extending the services of star player, Ignacio Piatti, The Impact will be looking to build a team around the Argentinian and improve on this seasons performance.

Orlando City vs Columbus Crew

Orlando City Stadium – Sunday 15th October 2017 – 17:00 ET (22:00 BST)

News of Brazilian legend that Brazilian legend, Kaka, will not be playing for Orlando in 2018 will have hit the Orlando fans hard. The iconic midfielder has left a lasting impression football in Orlando and fans will be able to say their thank you to the former World Player of the Year this weekend. With nothing left to play for, The Lions can just go out and try and enjoy the occasion. Columbus Crew will be out to try and spoil the send-off as they aim for victory to try and secure 5th spot. Which in turn will ensure a home tie in the opening game of the Playoffs.

New York Red Bulls vs Atlanta United

Red Bull Arena – Sunday 15th October 2017- 17:00 ET (22:00 BST)

Red Bulls fans breathed a huge sigh of relief last weekend after a 3-0 victory ensured they will make the Playoffs for 2017. After a poor run of 8 games without a win left their chances in the balance. But, the Vancouver win and other results going their way see Jesse Marsch’s side continue football past regular seasons. Top scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips must tread carefully as he is one yellow away from suspension. Something Red Bulls could certainly do without. They come up against an Atlanta side who saw their own record ended last weekend. When their 8 game unbeaten run came to end with a 3-2 defeat to Minnesota. Victory could see Atlanta pull level on points with second place NYCFC before they round off regular seasons at home to Supporters’ Shield winners, Toronto FC.

New England Revolution vs New York City FC

Gillette Stadium – Sunday 15th October 2017- 17:00 ET (22:00 BST)

New England are another side playing for pride as their season is effectively over. Sitting in 8th spot and no places left up for grabs in the Playoffs, they will hope to give their fans a great send-off with victory over second-place New York City. Second has been like home for NYCFC. They have occupied the spot for a few months now. Holding onto that place and fending off a late surge from Atlanta will give them home advantage in the semi-finals, after getting a first-round bye. They will be without Maxi Morales through suspension.

Chicago Fire vs Philadelphia Union

Toyota Park – Sunday 15th October 2017 – 16:00 CT (22:00 BST)

After beating Seattle Sounders, before the international break, Philadelphia will be out to cause another upset against Chicago this weekend. With their season at an end after missing the Playoffs, victory here and in their last game against Orlando will be a silver lining to their season. As for Chicago, all their early season, Eastern Conference hopes came crashing down after a disastrous 7 game run. Nonetheless, they’re guaranteed a Playoff spot for the first time in 5 years. Influential midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger is in line to start for the first tie since September.

Sporting Kansas vs Houston Dynamo

Sporting Park – Sunday 15th October 2017 – 18:30 CT (00:30 BST)

These two sides met just a few days ago, a rescheduled fixture due to the hurricane in Texas. Houston run out 2-1 winners and done themselves the world of good in their hopes to secure a Playoff place. Another result like that and they can start planning for the postseason. Sporting KC know victory will also secure them a place in this season’s Playoffs. the task will be made more difficult due to the injury of goalkeeper, Tim Melia.

Colorado Rapids vs Real Salt Lake

DSG Park – Sunday 15th October 2017 – 17:30 MT (00:30 BST)

Real Salt Lake are within touching distance of the promised land. They only 1 point away from the Playoff line. It is out of their hands regarding other results but will do give themselves a fighting chance with victory over lowly Colorado. Colorado will be out to put an end to Real Salt Lakes hard work this season. They will be without Jared Watts, who is still suspended after his sorrow tackle against Montreal.

Seattle Sounders vs FC Dallas

CenturyLink Field – Sunday 15th October 2017 – 16:30 PT (00:30 BST)

After looking a dead cert for Playoffs this year, FC Dallas has slipped down the table and are hanging in there by just a point. Manager Oscar Pareja has described this as a season defying game. With Real Salt Lake and San Jose Earthquakes breathing down their necks, nothing less than victory will do. Seattle are still yet to secure themselves a place in the Playoffs. But with victory in this fixture, they will do just that and can begin planning for the postseason.

Vancouver Whitecaps vs San Jose Earthquakes

BC Place – Sunday 15th October 2017 – 16:30 PT (00:30 BST)

With a place already in the bag for Vancouver, its now down to securing top spot in the Western Conference heading into the Playoffs. The job will be made a lot easier with the likes of Costa Rica hero Kendall Watson, Yordy Reyna, and Christian Bolanos back in contention after the dreaded international break. San Jose are putting pressure of FC Dallas and victory in this fixture will make for a very interesting final round of games of regular season.

LA Galaxy vs Minnesota United

StubHub Center – Saturday 30th September 2017 – 16:30 PT (00:30 BST)

There is not much to play for either side in this fixture. Both are out of contention for a Playoff spot this season. LA Galaxy will look to secure victory which will go some way make up to their fans for a disastrous season which has seen them win 2 out of 16 games at the StubHub Center during the regular season. Minnesota will look back over their first season and take a lot of positives. They may not have made the Playoffs but performances have been much improving recently and emerging talents Abu Danladi and Christian Ramirez give them a lot of promise for next season.

Portland Timbers vs D.C United

Providence Park – Saturday 30th September 2017 – 16:30 PT (00:30 BST)

Victory will ensure Portland make the Playoffs for 2017. They can look back and take pride in the improvement they made on last year where they missed out on the postseason. They face a D.C United side who are low in the table and low in confidence. Defeat to Columbus Crew has left the Washington side with the lowest point tally and worst goal difference in both conferences. They will need to victories in their remaining fixture if they’re to rid themselves of these unwanted statistics.
